Agriculture & Rural Development

We aim to empower villages towards self-sufficiency by promoting both farm and non-farm activities through sustainable agriculture, diversified livelihoods, and skill-building initiatives under our Rural Development arm of activities.

Our team worked together towards successful implementation of the following projects over the years:

  1. Solar based Irrigation Project under SECI
  2. Cluster based Village Development under ONGC: Bishunpur Cluster, Jharkhand
  3. Cluster based Village Development under ONGC: Parshurampur Cluster, Chhattisgarh

Through a series of well-targeted interventions, ourefforts have empowered farmers with the resources and knowledge they needed to thrive. These interventions included.

  • Natural Resource Management
  • Installation of Solar based Panels and Pumps
  • Installation of Lift and Drip Irrigation Systems
  • Promotion of Natural Farming
  • Promotion of Nutritional/Kitchen Gardening among female farmers
  • Promotion of Composite Farming
  • Knowledge Empowerment through FFS (Farmer Field Schools)
  • Training and Capacity Building
  • Promotion of Horticultural Plantation
  • Promotion of Non-farm Livelihoods such as goat rearing, pig rearing, fisheries etc.
  • Promotion of Soil Health
  • Providing Agricultural Assistance Services

The impact of these interventions has been far-reaching. Farmers are no longer restricted by seasonal limitations. They are cultivating a wider variety of crops, leading to a more nutritious diet for families and a source of income to address essential needs like education and healthcare. The spirit of community collaboration has blossomed, with farmers sharing knowledge and resources, fostering a sense of collective purpose and a brighter future.

We shall continue working towards our aim of building a future for Indiawhere migration becomes a choice, not a necessity.
