Primary Education

Program: Gyanshala

“Gyanshala” is the flagship concept of the ISDG Research Foundation being run since September 2020 to impart quality education and extend principles of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) to the rural/tribal landscape. Our core focus is to work on girl children of classes 1-5 and to link them with quality education by developing local teaching resources in the community. We are especially focused on the education gap being carried by the children and the requisite remediation process.

Primarily we select and develop a locally educated female to take the role of “Gyandoot”, who can assess the needs of the community, equip herself with a quality education paradigm and become the carrier of positive and sustainable change in the community. This Gyandoot administers 1.5 hrs of daily afterschool classes within the community. We provide 1-year long training support (online/offline) to this Gyandoot for effectively imparting quality education.
